SUNDAY SCHOOL

“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22: 6)

New Covenant Pentecostal Church, Calgary’s Sunday school program involves a Christ-centered teaching for kids from preschool to college. It is a journey through the scripture where children gain spiritual wisdom by unfolding the gospel from Genesis through Revelation. We desire to partner with parents in helping children establish a solid Biblical foundation upon which to build their lives. Our vision is to equip children to be well-grounded in God’s Word, build godly character, instill the priority of the Great Commission, develop spiritual gifts, and most of all Jesus as their savior.

Children begin their spiritual journey by learning from the word of God and understanding the gospel, enabling them to be strongly rooted in Christ. Our curriculum is chosen meticulously to reflect core Christian doctrines and it is culturally relevant to all the young people living in Canada. Our teachers are filled with biblical knowledge and aim to inspire and engage students by sharing their faith through teaching. Our Sunday school program not only brings insight into Gods word, but it is also a powerful resource to learn, connect, grow and have fellowship within our church.

Our Sunday school starts at 10:00 am on Sundays.

MUSIC

“And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.” (Psalms 27: 6)

Music is commanded by God to be part of our daily lives as well as part of our worship to Him. Our worship team therefore plays a very important role in the ministry of our church. Our church is blessed with a dedicated group of Malayalam and Hindi worship singers, who continue to respond as God commands us to sing praises to Him in the beauty of holiness. We are also blessed to have song writers and song composers in our worship team. Our determination is to worship our Savior unashamedly, to use our God-given gifts unreservedly, and to encourage and equip others to worship Him alone unselfishly. During worship time, it allows everyone to worship in freedom of the Spirit and prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God. We encourage you to come and experience our praise and worship and come with a willing heart to receive spiritual blessings from the Lord. Expect great things from the Lord and for your life to be changed as you turn your hearts to the heart of The Father.

Our worship team is always ready to sing along with you for exalting our Lord’s name. The beginning of each service is dedicated to praising the Lord and creating an atmosphere of openness to the Holy Spirit that will break bondages, change hearts and release the power of the anointing. Our worship team partners with like-minded churches and groups all around the globe to give praise and glory to the Creator.

LADIES FOR CHRIST

“Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a women who fears the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30)

MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)

Outreach Ministry

Salvation is found in no other name, but Jesus Christ. God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As followers of Jesus Christ, we joyfully reach out to the world outside of the church by being witnesses of our Lord Jesus, reaching out with compassion and love of Christ. We are longing for God’s glory to share Christ with the lost, learn and face the truth of God’s Word, love unconditionally and minister through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our outreach ministries are intended to share Christ’s love for us by reaching out to the lost, helping the ones in need and helping our community. We are called to be the “salt and light” to those around us. Our Church members also support missionary work in various parts of the world. Our evangelism team is active in several outreach programs that include tract distribution, visiting homeless shelters and mission trips within Canada.

Our outreach and mission ministry is on all Sunday evenings.

JEEVAMOZHI AND JEEVITH VACHAN

Jeevamozhi and Jeevit Vachan are digital evangelization ministries, broadcasting daily Bible devotionals and Bible quiz in multiple languages Malayalam, English and Hindi, through WhatsApp for people from all over the world. This ministry touched many souls and God’s Spirit illuminates the truth of Scripture to transform hearts, expose sin, and invite everyone into a deeper relationship with His Spirit. Both Bible devotionals and Bible study have helped many souls in making a personal decision to engage with the Bible, preparing them to give an answer for the hope within them. It also helped many to develop the habit of studying the Scriptures and be encouraged and inspired in faith walk with Scripture and reflection for each day.

KIDS/YOUTH MINISTRY

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)

Youth Church

At NCPC Calgary, children are an important part of our church, and we want them to learn about Jesus and the importance of worship. We believe children are a gift from God, and while the primary duty for spiritual upbringing is for parents, we believe the Church community is there to also assist parents in raising them to love Jesus. For the same reason that Jesus gave His attention to children, we believe children grow best when supported by loving parents, mentors, and teachers. Youth Church service is designed in such a way that all our youths are given equal participation and the entire service is conducted with adult supervision including the Church Pastor. Our ultimate goal is to help foster a community of like-minded believers that can find fellowship with one another.

Youth Church is held on every third Saturday at 08:30 pm.

Youth Meeting

NCPC Calgary strongly believes the youth of our church are our future, which is why we continually encourage them through various avenues of our youth ministry. We aim to equip this new generation with the tools and wisdom to build their relationship with Christ.

Youth meeting serves as an avenue mainly for youths and it is open for everyone in the church to nurture their God-given talents. With a vision to inspire and build a generation of faith, the youth meeting strives to create a spiritual setting for young people to listen to the word of God, fellowship together, develop their spiritual talents, be witnesses for Christ and serve our communities. These meetings are always filled with loads of fun and fellowship, which provide a great platform for everyone to perform and sharpen their talents, skills and abilities given from God, for God and with God.

Youth meetings are held on third Sunday of alternate months at 12:15 pm.

VBS Ministry

At NCPC Calgary, our heart is for missions, which is what makes the Vacation Bible School ministry so important to us. Each year we meet children that are either our neighbors in the community or reach out to any of the First Nations communities during summer, and we sing songs, share the Word of God with children and about the wonderful gift of salvation! We then end the week of VBS with games, food, fun and gifts for the children who attended this ministry. We love our community and we’re grateful that this ministry has given us the opportunity to serve them.
